Ferritic Cold Rolled Annealed Pickled Sheets and Coils

Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) offers an extensive portfolio of ferritic stainless steel grades in Cold Rolled Annealed and Pickled (CRAP) condition, catering to the specific requirements of the automotive, appliance, and industrial sectors. These grades are produced through the further processing of Hot Rolled Annealed and Pickled (HRAP) material. The HRAP coils undergo pickling to remove surface scale, followed by cold rolling to achieve precise thickness and improved surface finish. Subsequent annealing restores ductility, and final pickling ensures a clean and uniform surface appearance. This process results in a product with enhanced mechanical properties, superior surface quality.

The CRAP-grade product range includes 409L, 410S, 430, 430J1L, 436L, 439, 441, 409M, 430 MINT, and X2CrNi12 / EN 1.4003. These grades are characterized by good corrosion resistance, excellent formability, and high thermal conductivity, while also being cost-effective. As a result, they are widely used in applications such as automotive exhaust systems, structural components, kitchen appliances, and white goods, where both performance and economic efficiency are key considerations.
