Bulb Flat

Longteng's bulb flat production is centralized at the Rolling Division (Manufacturer Changshu Longteng Special Steel Co.,Ltd.). The rolling process uses continuous casting billets as raw material. These billets primarily come from long-route BOF-process billets produced by Longteng during the reporting period (accounting for 64%), followed by short-route EAF-process billets produced by Longteng (34%), with an additional 2% sourced from externally purchased billets.

Bulb flat is primarily used in shipbuilding, marine engineering, structural steelwork, and bridge construction. Typical end applications include ship hulls, offshore oil drilling platforms, and main bridge beams.

The main product specifications include: Grade A steel, AH36, DH36, EH36, other grade as S355J2 , S355K2 are also available, which are high-strength shipbuilding profile materials.
