Composite access balcony element
Composite access balcony consists of a glued wooden frame enclosed in composite. It is a patented balcony construction where the wooden frame acts as a load-bearing structure, but is completely enclosed by an outer layer of composite material. This surface layer acts as a weather-resistant casing that hermetically encapsulates the wood and protects it from moisture, UV radiation, temperature changes and mechanical wear.
The underside of the access balcony element has a surface layer with fire class B-s1,d0 which is applied to underlying material of class K210/B-s1,d0 according to the Euroclass system and the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Plannings building regulations, BBR.
