CIRIO Peeled Plum Tomatoes
Peeled tomatoes are born from tradition and a passion for tomatoes. Symbol of Italian cuisine, they are grown and processed with passion in the Italian area of excellence and “immersed” in a rich tomato sauce, with their full flavor and all the pulpiness of fresh tomatoes, they are suitable for all preparations. With regard to the peeled plums production process, after the manual or automatic sorting phase, the tomato is blanched by means of a stream of steam cook and then passed to the peelers which remove the skins. Peeled plum is ready for packaging in a box which is made using the filling machines. The cans are then sent to the pasteurizers, for a process that guarantees the stability of the product, its natural conservation and, consequently, perfect suitability for consumption.
