CIRIO Pizza Sauce - Flavoured with herbs

Cirio Pizza Sauce is obtained only from selected tomatoes, using only tomatoes come from certified integrated production, harvested and processed on the same day. The ingredients are: tomatoes, onion, sugar, spices, salt, citric acid.

With regard to the chopped tomatoes production process, after the manual or automatic sorting phase, the tomato is blanched by means of a stream of steam cook and then passed to the peelers which remove the skins. The next step is that of the dicing machines that cut the tomato into cubes using automatic cutters, followed by a further selection phase using electronic sorting machines that allow to eliminate any impurities and any residual part that is not perfectly ripe. Slightly concentrated tomato juice and salt are added to the tomato cubes. The pulp is ready for packaging in a box which is made using the filling machines. The cans are then sent to the pasteurizers, for a process that guarantees the stability of the product, its natural conservation and, consequently, perfect suitability for consumption.
