ALUMINIUM PROFILE
The process of obtaining a profile by forcing the raw material through a die is known as extrusion. Extrusion is also a section reduction process.
The cross-section of the aluminum billet is converted into the cross-section of the aluminum profile. Therefore, the closer the cross-section of the billet is to the desired profile cross-section, the easier the process will be.
During the extrusion process, the raw material and die are heated to specific temperature parameters before production. The profile produced under optimized parameters is then cooled, stretched, and cut to the desired length. To achieve the desired condition and mechanical properties of the profiles, artificial aging is performed in thermal furnaces.
