Calcium Carbonate - Carbonato di Calcio
Ground Calcium Carbonate (CaCO₃) is produced by Mi.Gra. Srl through the mechanical processing (crushing, grinding, and classification) of marble quarry residues. The material is recovered entirely from abandoned or active quarry deposits (“ravaneti”), thus reducing the use of virgin rock and supporting environmental restoration of the Apuan Alps and Minucciano Municipality. The products are offered in different granulometric fractions, ranging from fine powders (<150 µm) to coarse sands and stabilized aggregates, depending on the intended industrial or construction application. The chemical composition is primarily calcium carbonate (≥93–99%), with only trace levels of silica, iron oxides, and magnesium oxide.
