PVB Film with a Thickness of 0.76mm
The product is a Poly Vinyl Butyral (PVB) film with a thickness of 0.76 mm. During manufacturing of the product, PVB resin is combined with additives and plasticisers. Then, the mixture is extruded and the formed sheet is cooled in a water bath. After cooling, the PVB film sheet is conditioned, rolled onto a polypropylene core and packaged. The product is intended to be laminated between 2 panes of glass to produce safety glass. Upon glass breakage, glass pieces will adhere to the PVB film and will reduce the risk for injuries. In addition, safety glass laminated with Everlam PVB film will also resist the penetration of objects going through the glass. Besides safety and security, safety glass laminated with EVERLAM PVB film provides UV protection and acoustic sound reduction. Safety glass produced with EVERLAM PVB interlayer complies to several norms and standards, such as, but not limited to, EN410, EN12600, ASTM C1172, ASTM E1300, ASTM F1233, UL972 and ANSI Z97.1. More information on the product and its technical and functional characteristics can be found on the manufacturer’s website www.everlam.com.
