Double-glazed insulating glass unit (IGU) with uncoated and coated glass (4/16/4)
A double-glazed insulating glass unit is made up of two 4 mm thick glass panes with a spacer frame between them. The unit is hermetically sealed along its perimeter. The inner glass pane is coated, while the outer pane is uncoated float glass. The space between the panes is filled with argon gas, and the unit features primary and secondary seals along with a spacer bar. The design, dimensions, glass coating and properties of the glass unit are selected by calculation, taking into account the application and specific performance characteristics
