EPS insulation boards

This EPD describes factory-made Expanded Polystyrene foam (EPS). The closed-cell structure is filled with air (98% air + 2% polystyrene) and results in a strong, lightweight, durable, and rigid thermoplastic insulation foam. 

The products are used for the thermal insulation of buildings or as packaging material. The EPS foam is available in various dimensions and shapes, or as loose thermal insulation filler material. This EPD applies to average EPS products without material combinations or facings. The most important properties are thermal conductivity and compressive strength.

All of the reported products have a fire protection class E.
