Woven polyester high strength geotextile
Woven polyester high strength geotextile (further – geotextile) are made from high tenacity, low elongation yarn or polyester yarn and woven at the production site. Geotextiles are manufactured in various sizes and densities. The following geotextile products are included in the EPD:
• GTX TeleVev 70/70, density 0,23 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 100/50, density 0,24 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 100/100, density 0,31 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 150/50, density 0,32 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 150/150, density 0,47 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 200/50, density 0,37 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 200/200, density 0,65 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 300/50, density 0,55 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleVev 400/50, density 0,70 kg/m2;
• GTX TeleEnviro 70/70, density 0,23kg/m2.
The differences between the geotextile products GTX TeleVev and GTX TeleEnviro lie in their technical parameters and the area density. The raw and auxiliary materials used in the products, as well as the manufacturing and installation process are the same for all GTX TeleVev and GTX TeleEnviro products.
Geotextiles are used on construction sites and are especially suitable for use under extremely high loads and coarse material (rock materials in-fills and embankments). It offers a great advantage where both high strength reinforcement and separation are needed. Geotextiles are used for soil reinforcement worldwide and are present in a wide range of applications, such as reinforced soil wall, steep embankment slopes, retaining walls, railways and subsoil reinforcement of airports.
