Formica® FRguard® PROTEC+ 1mm (Formica Asia)

Formica® FRguard®+PROTEC+ is made from melamine impregnated decorative paper and a special non-combustible structural layer under high temperature and pressure. The panel has an average density of 1,9 g/cm3. Formica® FRguard®+PROTEC+ 1mm panel is a single-sided laminate with frosted back.

Formica® FRguard®+PROTEC+ can slow the spread of flame and combustion, making the panel an excellent choice as a fire retardant material. Its outstanding heat, water, surface wear, and impact resistance properties render it suitable for diverse environments and applications.

As part of Formica Asia’s Next Generation Surfacing Materials, Formica® FRguard®+PROTEC+ incorporates innovative technology into its manufacturing process. 

Crafted from high-quality decorative papers and utilizing the antimicrobial properties of silver (Ag+), the product combines specially selected inorganic materials, fused under high pressure and temperature.

This next-generation antimicrobial surfacing material shows a reduction in microbe count on a surface by up to 99%, coupled with high wear- and scratch-resistant properties. This high-performance range1 is created for protection as hygienic surfaces for you and your family throughout its lifespan2. Formica® FRguard®+PROTEC+ products are intended for application as interior vertical surfaces.
