GLASS XTREME

The Glass Xtreme family includes twenty-two products. Silcart provides these products as facers used in the production of insulation panels: they can be used both as top and bottom layer.In the panels production process, facings are necessary as they contain the expansion of the foam and give the final products specific characteristics, such as dimensional stability, mechanical resistance, reaction to fire, resistance to high temperature and hydrophobicity.

Silcart's bituminous facings can have two different finishes, talc or non-woven polypropylene, both useful for ensuring that the panels do not stick to each other once they are overlapped.

The main features of this product are: high dimensional stability, good resistance to high temperatures, porosity control during the production, high tensile strength, hydrophobicity, resistance to mould and insect attack, good walkability, compatible with torch-on membranes.
