Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)
The product investigated in this EPD is Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) produced at company’s production plant in southern region of Riyadh. This type of cement is considered one of the most widespread, best and most used types of cement all over the world. Ordinary Portland Cement is used in normal uses, as it is suitable for all uses that do not require specific properties like the other types. This type of cement is used in cement concrete that is not exposed to some factors such as the penetration of sulfur present in the soil or water.
