METOLUX 2-PART WOOD FILLER

Metolux 2-Part Wood Filler is a styrene free two component polyester resin based wood filler. The product is a high strength filler supplied pre-coloured in retail and trade pack sizes. The resin filler and the hardener are in a 50:1 volume ratio which is set and mixed by the user. Product supplied in a “dish lid” tin containing a separate hardener tube. Resin and hardener are mixed on a mixing surface (pallet/cup) in a 50:1 ratio, the curing process begins and the repair must be carried within the working time, of typically 10 minutes. It was developed principally as a high strength filler for gaps, joints and timber imperfections/damages. Small repairs of up to 20mm depth are possible which can be sanded and painted over after 30 minutes hardening time.
