Steel billets are semi-finished metal products that serve as raw materials to produce finished steel products like rebars, angles, channels, squares, rounds and flats etc. which have various industrial applications such as construction, structural and pipelines, automobile parts manufacturing’s etc, steel billets are classified based on their carbon content, which significantly affects their properties and applications. The three main types of carbon steel billets are low carbon steel billets, medium carbon steel billets and high carbon steel billets.
