Elbow fitting

Components specifically designed to change the direction of pipes are known as elbow fittings. These elbow fittings can operate under pressures of 3-16 bar and temperatures ranging from 20 to 120°C. They typically feature parallel pipe threading that conforms to the ISO 228 standard. Made primarily from brass, elbow fittings are available in various sizes, including 8mm, 12mm, 22mm, and 28mm, and are suitable for non-corrosive and corrosive media such as oil, water, and gases. Due to their flexible size requirements, secure connection to pipes, and excellent sealing performance, elbow fittings are widely used in industries such as oil refining, chemical engineering, light industry, textiles, national defense, metallurgy, aviation, and shipping. They are also applicable to hydraulic transmission systems in various mechanical engineering and machine tool equipment. During installation, it is crucial to ensure that the pipe ends are perpendicular and smooth, without burrs, and to properly tighten the ferrule cap to ensure the stability and sealing of the connection.
