Fasteners made of carbon steel and alloy steel, which includes:

• uncoated fasteners

• electrogalvanized fasteners

• hot-dip galvanized fasteners

Alloy steel is defined as in the standard BS EN ISO 898 Mechanical properties of fasteners made of carbon steel and alloy steel.

Results in the result tables are presented for the electrogalvanized fasteners. Conversion factors to calculate results of uncoated fasteners and hot-dip galvanized fasteners are presented in Appendix I. Electrogalvanized fasteners were selected as representative product based their largest production volume compared to the other products.
