OPGW - 2AC 1x48B1 SM (ACS/AA 106/64 - 264) (Optical Ground Wire)
OPGW (optical ground wire) is a type of conductor used on electrical transmission lines to protect phase conductors from ligthning strikes and act as grounding wires as well as transmit data. This conductor fuses grounding and telecommunnication functions in itself. Its constructed with a stainless steel or PBT tube, which could be aluminum cladded, containing optical fibers with thixotropic jelly for fiber protection, water resistance and hydrogen absorbing properties, aluminum clad steel (ACS) wires and aluminum alloy wires. The product is suitable for fixed installation and expected life time of the product is around 25 years.
