ALC 9,900B Closed Cavity Double Skin Bamboo Facade
The elegance of glass covered towers is reflected in the growing number of such buildings in city centers.
Uses of traditional screen walls resulted in numerous problems for the occupants such as thermal inconvenience, lack of breathable fresh air, acoustic discomfort, decreased cognitive function, visual interferences and additional negative effects.
Aluminum Construction Group developed a new generation of curtain walls that utilize engineered bamboo profiles. This significantly reduces the use of metals such as aluminum and steel, dramatically cutting the carbon footprint of our products.
Beyond sustainability, these systems are exceptionally elegant, thanks to the natural wood-like effect that creates a biophilic ambiance for building occupants. This, in turn, enhances cognition, productivity, and overall well-being sensation.
Double Skin Close Cavity Bamboo Façade is a curtain wall system made of two glass membranes that form an airtight center containing moisture-saturated air.
The hybrid frame is made by engineered bamboo profiles with an external aluminum beads.
An integrated automatic system prevents condensation between the glasses by enabling the flow of dry air based on humidity, pressure and temperature indices monitored in the cavity.
The system incorporates a shading system that include bamboo venetian blinds that create a comfortable environment suitable for office towers and even for residences or hotels. thermal and acoustic comfort can be increased by incorporating vacuum glass inside. The reference service life (RSL) of the product is 50 years.
