Uses of traditional screen walls resulted in numerous problems for the occupants such as thermal inconvenience, lack of breathable fresh air, acoustic discomfort, decreased cognitive function, visual interferences and additional negative effects.

Aluminum Construction Group developed a new generation of screen wall systems using double skin methods to reduce energy consumption while preserving the environment. These unique system provide excellent acoustic insulation, control the correct amount of natural light, neutralize conduction and convection and considerably enhance comfort, productivity and the wellbeing of the building’s occupants, without compromising on a spectacular architectural look.

Open Cavity Double Skin Façade is a curtain wall system made of two glass skins that are separated from each other.

Natural fresh air flows throw advanced filters between the two glass skins and cool the cavity. In summer days automatic system with sensors push forced air to increase cooling. The system incorporates a shading system that include blinds that create a comfortable environment suitable especially for offices buildings. The reference service life (RSL) of the product is 50 years.
