Allied’s Ready Mix Concrete has an embodied carbon LCA model by a third party verified EPD Process Certification, enabling us to provide on-demand EPDs. This allows Allied to work closely with its customers to make informed decisions about the carbon content of their concrete, from the tender process through to design and construction. Allied process certification provides a streamlined pathway to assess the environmental performance of customised concrete mixes. 

This is a “cradle-to-gate” EPD covering modules A1-A3, with modules C1–C4 and D. The declared unit is 1 m3 of Allied ready-mix concrete.
