Ferrochrome
Ferrochrome (FeCr) is an alloy made up of iron and chromium. The chromium content typically ranges from 50% to 70%, depending on its use. It is produced by reducing chromite, a mineral primarily consisting of chromium oxide and iron oxide, which is extracted as chrome ore. High carbon ferrochrome mainly used in the stainless-steel production. Ferrochrome is also widely used in the automotive sector, construction industry, and the manufacturing of other metal products.
