Portland cement, also known as CEM I 42.5R, primarily consists of approximately 90% clinker, 5% limestone, and an additional 4-5% gypsum. It is required to exhibit a compressive strength of x ≥ 20 MPa within two days and between 42.5 MPa and 62.5 MPa within 28 days, with a greater emphasis on the strength achieved by the 28th day.
