High-tensile ring net
The high-tensile ring net is used for a flexible high performance protection system designed to safeguard slopes and infrastructure against rockfalls or falling trees. The net is manufactured starting from a high-tensile steel wire. The steel wire has a diameter of 2 mm and corrosion protection consisting of zinc (95%) and aluminum (5%). The steel wire is further processed into a net by bending.
The products are certified as ‘FALLING ROCK PROTECTION KITS’ according to EAD (European Assessment Document) 340059-00-0106 and ‘Flexible kits for retaining debris flows and shallow landslides’ according to EAD 340020-00-0106.
In areas with average corrosion the technical service life of a net made of 3 mm thick wire is 60 years on average.
