The representative product is the OS2 ZM profile, made of galvanized steel and represents the best-selling product in the Secco Sistemi S.p.a. product range. Each profile is produced in bars with a length of 6 linear meters and in the different versions 85, 75 and 65 which differ only in the height of the section.

The galvanized steel used by Secco Sistemi for the production of its profiles is composed of a ternary alloy (Zn- 3% Mg- 2.5% Al) with high resistance to corrosion, to protect both the external and internal surface of the profile from oxidation. The subsequent skin-passing of the zinc layer determines an ideal finish to guarantee the best adhesion of the paint.

The variants of the representative product are made of corten steel (EBE Corten); stainless steel SB (EBE AISI 316); stainless steel ST (EBE AISI 304); brass (EBE OT67).

Corten steels, on the other hand, are special alloys with copper, chromium, and phosphorus, with self-passivating properties due to a surface patina that prevents the spread of corrosion. The natural oxidation process can be accelerated through specific oxidizing treatments.

Regarding brass, Secco Sistemi uses the OT67 alloy, in which the high copper content (67%) provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the zinc (33%) improves mechanical properties, such as hardness and tensile strength."
