Rugby Cement Plant CEM II/B-V 42,5N
CEM II/B-V 42,5N (Extra) is a factory produced Portland composite cement with the addition of flyash, containing 65-79% clinker content in its ’nucleus’. It is produced in accordance with the EN 197-1 standard. Extra provides benefits in a wide range of concrete, mortar, render, screed and grout applications being suitable for use as an alternative to Portland cement in most types of concrete.
Primarily used for its +SR (Sulfate Resistance) classification within BRE Special Digest 1 and BS8500 it is a suitable alternative to the now unavailable Sulfate Resisting Cements. It is suitable to produce all types of concrete from ready mixed concrete to precast and prefabricated elements, as well as prestressed constructions for the construction of public and commercial buildings.
