Shock*Star Surface is used in building and construction industry and also in surface mining. Shock*Star Surface nonelectric delay detonators are designed for the initiation of other Shock Tube detonators and to provide a delay between holes for blasting in surface mines, in underground and construction sites. Shock*Star Surface detonators are equipped with connectors able to connect 8 outgoing Shock Tubes. Detonators have a reduced amount of base charge to reduce noise levels and eliminate shrapnel cut-off concerns.
