Wall Mounted Thermostatic Bath and Shower Mixers​

Thermostatic bath and shower mixers consist of a brass body in most cases, a plastic valve with ceramic discs, and several assembly parts of various materials. The rosette and handle surface are usually chrome-plated using various galvanic process stages. Other coating techniques are also applied for different color options like PVD and wet coating, against corrosion.​

The thermostatic cartridge mechanism enables users to adjust the desired water temperature, mixing it automatically. There is a thermostatic valve that mixes the hot and cold water to a constant temperature. The thermostatic tap acts promptly to any variation of pressure or temperature ensuring a continuous flow of water with a constant temperature. If, for some accidental reason the cold or hot water stops, the thermostatic tap will stop as the water flows. ​

Wall-mounted thermostatic bath and shower mixers have a horizontal body connected to the hot and cold-water systems and incorporate two knobs at the ends: temperature and water flow. Some advanced models take advantage of the "cold body" technology that prevents the body from overheating excessively, causing unpleasant sensations or even burns.
