Built-In Thermostatic Bath and Shower Mixers
Thermostatic built-in mixers consist of a plastic or zamac rosette body in most cases, a plastic valve with ceramic discs, and several assembly parts of various materials. The handle/valve surface is usually chrome-plated using various galvanic process stages. Other coating techniques are also applied for different color options like PVD and wet coating, against corrosion.
The thermostatic cartridge mechanism enables users to adjust the desired water temperature, mixing it automatically. There is a thermostatic valve that mixes the hot and cold water to a constant temperature. The thermostatic mixer acts promptly to any variation of pressure or temperature ensuring a continuous flow of water with a constant temperature. If, for some accidental reason the cold or hot water stops, the thermostatic mixer will stop as the water flows.
In terms of water outlets, thermostatic bath mixers are separated into two. Thermostatic bath mixers have two water outlets. An embodied diverter enables water to run two of the following outlets: bath spout, showerhead, water jets, and hand shower via hand shower outlet. Thermostatic shower mixers only have one water outlet.
