XPS profiles
THERMOPLASTIKI manufactures a range of extruded polystyrene (XPS) products at their facility in Kavala. XPS, a lightweight and efficient thermal insulating material, is produced via the extrusion process. The closed-cell structure of XPS, resulting from gas entrapment, ensures low water absorption, making it ideal for high-humidity environments. The production process utilizes a CO2-ethanol mixture as a blowing agent and incorporates the flame-retardant additive.XPS products, including the Novablok™ and Novablok™ XPS Terrace profiles, cater to various thermal insulation applications in civil engineering, building equipment, and industrial projects.
