Icopal Shingles Pro / Kattolaatta Plano Pro
Icopal Shingels is a roofing material made of molded, slate-coated bitumen tiles and therefore combines the durability of stone material with the elasticity of bitumen. The shingles have a unique adhesive system, with adhesive surfaces on the top just where the next row overlaps the first one. The tiles are then glued together into a seamless and secure unit with no joints.
The product also have a very low weight, compared to many other types of roofing materials. This means that they can be laid even on lighter roof structures. Icopal Shingels have stone granules on the top that protect against UV radiation during the warm season and reduce the risk of snow falling from the roof in the winter season.
