Profili in alluminio riciclato per serramenti

The present EPD is referred to the aluminium thermal break profile produced by GEAL SpA, which can be subject to different processing: coating, varnishing, sublimation, oxidation, or be sold without processing. The thermal break profile is produced through the use of polyammide strips sandwiched between aluminium profiles. The product studied in this EPD is made of 50-55% post-consumer and 30-35% pre-consumer recycled aluminium.

The analysed products are part of five macro-series of thermal break aluminium profiles produced by Geal SpA:

HPsystem SLIM.60th

HPsystem 820.60th

Hpsystem SLICK (45mm)

Hpsystem SLICK 160.60th

Each macro-series can be produced with the five processing analysed in the EPD (unrefined, coated, varnished, sublimated, oxidated).

The varnished thermal break aluminium profile is the reference product to which the results included in the EPD are referred.
