Panels and walls

a) Panels are prefabricated structural concrete elements used mainly in facades and partitions of industrial and residential structures. There are three types of panels:

• Solid, of variable thickness according to project needs.

• Lightened, with internal expanded polystyrene lightening and reinforced concrete ribs.

• Three-layer (or sandwich): with an inner layer of thermal insulation that creates the thermal break.

b) Walls are prefabricated structural concrete elements used in building and civil works, and which usually serve as earth containment. Molins Precast Solutions manufactures reinforced walls with waits, ribbed walls and German walls.

In general, concretes with a characteristic strength of 30 MPa and B-500-S corrugated steel are used, and the type of concrete and the amount of reinforcement can be adapted to the needs of the project.

The dimensions of the prefabricated panels and walls are variable, adapting to the geometric requirements of each project.
