Formica® FRguard® +PROTEC+ 3mm (Formica Asia)

Formica® FRguard® +PROTEC+ is made from melamine impregnated decorative paper and a special non-combustible structural layer pressed under high temperature and pressure. The panel has an average density of 1,94 g/cm3.

Formica® FRguard® +PROTEC+ can slow the spread of flame and combustion, making the panel an excellent choice as a fire retardant material. Its outstanding heat, water, surface wear, and impact resistance properties render it suitable for diverse environments and applications.

As part of Formica Asia’s Next Generation Surfacing Materials, Formica® FRguard® +PROTEC+ incorporates innovative technology into its manufacturing process. Crafted from high-quality decorative papers and utilizing the antimicrobial properties of silver (Ag+), the product combines specially selected inorganic materials, fused under high pressure and temperature.

This next-generation antimicrobial surfacing material shows a reduction in microbe count on a surface by up to 99%, coupled with high wear- and scratch-resistant properties. This high-performance range is created for protection as hygienic surfaces for you and your family throughout its lifespan.

Formica® FRguard® +PROTEC+ products are intended for application as interior vertical surfaces such as walls, ceilings, elevator car linings, marine use, restrooms, changing rooms, backsplashes and kitchens. Additionally, this product enables quick installation for renovation compared to traditional materials.
