FibroMix steel fibers

FibroMix steel fibers produced by FIBRO METALS SRL are produced from steel wire, drawn from wire rod SAE 1006 and 1008+B. Wire rod is delivered to the company, by verified wire rod suppliers who use recycled material, in a proportion of 100%.

FibroMix steel fibers are mainly used as concrete reinforcement, considering its great possibility to double tensile, compressive and bending strength of concrete and also in external and internal paved areas, composite slabs, precast elements and sprayed concrete. 

Concretes reinforced with FibroMix steel fibers are highly ductile, flexural and with strength that exceed conventional concrete.

FibroMix steel fiber reinforced concrete can provide an alternative to standard reinforcement with steel bars or steel mesh. Main application of FibroMix steel fibers is in industrial floors and pavements but as well as in ground, and also pile supported floors. There also exists a growing interest in precast tunnel segments made of FibroMix steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC). The advantage of FibroMix steel fiber reinforced concrete is very high resistance to cracks and high resistance to pressure of heavy loads. With FibroMix, deal with cracking, breakage or holes – is excluded.
