Billet

Steel billet is a semi-finished steel product directly produced from melt shops and continuous casting processes in various square-section sizes and lengths. 

VAS Billets with cross-sections of 130mm and 150mm are made from carefully selected scraps and are strictly manufactured to specific standards and customer requirements. VAS billets are high levels of quality raw materials for processes such as rolling or forging.

All billets shall be identified with the heating/casting number clearly on one end which allows for precise control of all the materials produced and be painted a marking color on another end if required to distinguish lots.
