SOSTANZA ATTIVA SILANICA is a special multi-purpose additive for refineries and asphalt mix plants, based on aminosilanes that allows to improve bitumen and asphalt mix performances. The SOSTANZA ATTIVA SILANICA strongly promote adhesion between bitumen and aggregate (due to the presence of silicon within the additive that creates Si-O-Si bonds with aggregates), and at the same time reduce asphalt mix mixing, paving and compaction temperatures by as much as 50°C compared to those traditionally used, without compromising the properties of the mix, in fact improving it.
