Knitted PET (InfiKnit™) Ceiling and Wall Features

InfiKnit™ is the difference between decoration and design. Juxtaposing industry-leading knitting technology with time-tested architectural manufacturing techniques, InfiKnit™ is a toolkit for designers that softens, expands, absorbs, and transforms spaces. InfiKnit™’s material and unique 3D texture reduce the impact of noise from everyday annoyances like ringing, typing, and chatter resulting in a more pleasant and productive environment (True NRC® [F-100 Method)]: 0.75).

InfiKnit™ panels are made with 100% Fire Retardant Polyester (FR PET). Its exclusive 3D knitted material works in concert with the design to help reduce and control reverberations leaving a lasting impression at scales ranging from assembly halls to conference rooms.

InfiKnit™ can be installed on any standard T24 T-Grid in 600x1200 format with torsion springs and adapter clips. This means that new projects can be installed simply with easily available components and that existing spaces with T24 grids can be adapted to fit InfiKnit™’s universal connection system.

The supporting hardware is made from NOWN’s CircuLUM® - Aluminium made from at least 71% post-consumer recycled content.

As with all NOWN’s grid products - InfiKnit™ remains Open Plan Accessible for easy maintenance and access while fitting seamlessly next to each other. InfiKnit™ is compatible with NOWN’s Vertika wall system - making InfiKnit™ a multi-dimensional solution for interior spaces. InfiKnit™ products are 3Dknitted to shape, resulting in less than 0.1% material waste in the production process. We reduced water usage by 38-39%.
