Felt PET (SoftSound®) Ceiling and Wall Features

The acoustical material SoftSound® is produced by felting 100% PET plastic (100% non-woven PET, with 60% post-consumer recycled content). It can be recycled completely, as we do not add lubricants or oils during our manufacturing processes. This material provides superior sound absorption for improved acoustics. SoftSound® is the raw material from which our ceiling clouds lines Arborisa™, SoftGrid®, our ceiling baffles lines SoftSpan®, SoundBar®, SoundAngle® and SoundEdge®, and acoustic wall panels SoftScreen® are made.

Arborisa™’s acoustic modules span across spaces, providing robust auditory coverage to inhabitants below. Designed to emulate the expansive look of a tree canopy, these modules, made of our SoftSound® acoustic material, branch off in various directions, providing an array of acoustic coverage whether as a single module or grouped.

Whether using one or many modules, the SoftGrid® family of ceiling elements offers various design and acoustic possibilities. Select your pattern from our SoftSound® library and utilize this straightforward assembly method, compatible with most ceiling types. Modules can function individually or connect with our bridge clips to form a dynamic architectural layout.
