Foaming agents: ISOCEM S/L and ISOCEM S/X

The products under analysis are ISOCEM S/L and ISOCEM S/X, considering their winter and summer variation and the coloured/ uncoloured forms, a family of foaming agent.

Isocem S/L and S/X are foaming agent intended to produce aerated concrete for special applications. It consists of natural surfactants (neither organic nor synthetic) mixed with raw materials of plant origin that act in synergy with each other. They are meant to be used as foaming agents with special foam generators to produce aerated concrete. The main difference between the two types of foaming agents is the amount of surfactant used in the formula. Indeed, ISOCEM S/X is the most concentrated, as it has almost the double content of soap (surfactant) in the formula. Both the foaming agents have the winter and the summer version of themselves. The versions differ because of the presence, in the winter form, of the glycol, used as antifreeze. Its scope is to maintain the physical state of the product, as it avoids the freezing caused by low temperatures.
