Steel structures: corrugated steel pipes and reservoirs
The steel structures (NovaCor helically corrugated steel pipes and NovaCor reservoirs) made in conformity with the EN 1090 standard.
Most often, steel corrugated structures are used for tunnels or bridges for cars and railways, pedestrian, cyclist or animal crossings, and water culverts. It is not uncommon for steel corrugated structures to be adapted to strengthen and reconstruct existing culverts, bridges or tunnels. Steel corrugated pipes are also used in external unpressurized water and sewage, drainage, liquid storage (e.g. rainwater) systems, for the accumulation of technological or fire water in tanks. They are also used for the installation of air ventilation ducts, protective cases, shelters and hangars.
NovaCor helically corrugated steel pipes
NovaCor pipes are applied in various fields, as they are lightweight, strong, durable, inexpensive and environmentally friendly. During production, the steel sheet is corrugated in a spiral way, and the sheets are connected to each other by a self-fixing seam. The parameters of the cross-section of the corrugation make it possible to reduce the thickness of the sheet while maintaining the high bearing capacity of the pipe. Pipes are installed under the road or railway and withstand high pressure of various types of loads. NovaCor pipes are made of galvanized and polymer-coated steel, the durability of which reaches 100 years and more. The output of pipes has a particularly small impact on the environment, since production processes do not require a lot of costs and recycled steel is used. Since NovaCor pipes are lightweight, their transportation and installation require minimal costs. In addition, the cost of operating the pipes is small, which allows the end user to save too. Pipes can have the shape of a round or pipe-arch profile, due to which they are characterized by high water permeability. Their internal diameter can range between 300-3900 mm, and the length is adapted to the needs of the customer. Pipe segments are connected by couplers to ensure the integrity, strength and tightness of the pipe.
NovaCor reservoirs
The helically corrugated steel NovaCor tanks are great alternative to the similar products on the market so far. The NovaCor tank can be adapted for different purposes: for extinguishing indoor and outdoor fires, for rain storage, for flow regulation, and in exceptional cases even for the accumulation of domestic sewage or oil separators. In our daily activities, working with designers and customers, we constantly offer tanks with non-standard parameters or their systems. One of the main advantages of steel corrugated tanks is their unlimited length and volume. Tank segments are connected with a sealed flange connection, which allows to select a product with individual parameters according to the needs of the customer. The internal diameter of NovaCor tanks can range between 300-3900 mm. The strong corrugated steel shell of the tank allows them to be installed in the zone of automotive loads (in the driveway or in the parking zone too) and in the presence of a soil cover of 10 meters or more. Due to the strong shell of the tank, it is not necessary to install a reinforced concrete load distribution slab above it, which is a great advantage over the reservoirs of a different materiality (for example, GRP or plastic). NovaCor tanks are made of galvanized and polymer-coated steel.
