Special Prestressed Steel

Special PC strands produced by Fapricela are characterised by their high strength and low relaxation. They are used in the manufacture of pre-stressed and post-stressed concrete elements, post-tensioning in large support structures, in civil construction and infrastructures. They come in a combination of 2, 3 or 7 strands and can have a smooth or indented surface and a dry or oiled finish. It is supplied with the appropriate packaging, in duly labelled reels, with a hard core, weight and characteristics agreed with the customer. The strand is used in all types of prestressing, with wedge anchors, such as beams, plates, beams, tubes, pillars, prestressed panels, in slabs and for supporting structures.

Low relaxation steel wire for prestressing is characterised by its high strength and low relaxation. It is used in the manufacture of prestressed and post-stressed concrete elements in the construction industry. It is usually supplied in rolls or cut or threaded rods.
