This EPD presents a ‘cradle-to-gate’ assessment of the environmental impacts of 40MPA 19MM Pump Steel Fibre at the Holcim NZ Avondale plant. It covers raw materials, their transport to the plant, and ready-mix concrete batching at the plant (A1-A3). This EPD also covers End of Life (C1-C4) and module D. The life cycle assessment provides quantitative, objective and third-party verified data, which Holcim NZ is able to utilize to continuously improve its products and processes.
