Fluting paper and testliner paper derived from 100% recycled fibres

Burgo Containerboard (Avezzano mill) is the production center entirely dedicated to paper for packaging, with a full range of high performance papers. 

The EPD considers two families of papers: fluting and testliner. These papers are made from recycled fibres, i.e. waste paper from separate waste collection, packaging recovery and processing waste. The papers are used for corrugated cardboard packaging solutions; once their function has been exhausted, if destined for recycling, they can be used again as a raw material.

The final product of the supply chain, therefore, the cardboard box, is a natural, recyclable and renewable packaging: the paper comes back to life by becoming new packaging, thanks to a virtuous and inexhaustible cycle.
