Calcium carbonate filler

Crushed limestone products manufactured by Naujasis kalcitas has two purposes – major (40%) part of it are used as an intermediate product, i.e., raw material, for production of Calcium carbonate filler with remaining share of Crushed limestone delivered to clients in Lithuania and neighbouring countries. Crushed limestone is used in agriculture for liming acidic soils, in the production of peat substrates and for improving the condition of water bodies and as a feed material.

Calcium carbonate filler is a post-processed Crushed limestone, where in manufacturing phase heat is applied to the raw material in order to dry it and milling and sieving is conducted to get desired fraction. 

There are multiple application options for Calcium carbonate filler:

1) manufacturing of concrete;

2) agriculture, for liming acidic soils, in the production of peat substrates and for improving the condition of water bodies;

3) bitumen mixtures and surface layers intended for aircraft, vehicle traffic or other construction engineering works;

4) for the production of mortar used for buildings, roads and engineering structures;

5) as a feed material for production of organic feed for animals.
