Gypframe® metal profiles manufactured from "Carbon Low" steel
Gypframe® metal profiles is a product group that includes a large range of light-gauge steel framing products made of hot-dip galvanized steel. The product group includes studs, channels, sheet angles and other specialistic profiles that are designed as framing components for gypsum plasterboard systems as well as for the construction of ceilings, adjustment brackets, couplings, etc. These metal profiles are all made using the same main raw material, galvanized steel coil graded DX51D/S220GD +Z140 MAC, and via the steel profiling technology used at the manufacturing site in Smethwick. Gypframe® metal profiles manufactured from “Carbon Low” steel, branded Gypframe® (Carbon Low), is a subset of Gypframe® products manufactured using electric arc furnace (EAF)-derived steel coils as opposed to blast furnace (BF)-derived steel coils.
