Wet Use Chopped Strand (EC6 6MM & EC13 18MM)

Saint-Gobain Vetrotex produces textile glass fiber materials for use in very diverse applications, mainly in the technical textile field. The product range includes E-glass single yarns, voluminized yarns, texturized yarns, multifilament fiber (cakes,Zerotwist® rovings (Direct roving from 68 to 200 Tex and Direct roving (> 200 Tex))), , textile chopped strands (wet and dry) and C-glass staple fiber yarn.

Textile chopped strands are produced from continuous E-glass filaments treated with textile sizing and chopped to a given nominal length.

Product applications:

• Multi-axial fabrics - for use in wind turbine, sports, and leisure, automotive and transportation applications

• Narrow fabrics - tapes to reinforce pipes and other composite structures
