CEM III/A 42,5 N LH
CEM III/A 42.5 N LH is a low heat hydration metallurgical cement with a clinker content of 45% - 55%. It is produced in accordance with the EN 197-1 standard.
It is characterized by high final strength, improved workability and care of concrete, low heat of hydration, and reduced tendency for shrinkage and crack formation. Significant strength increase occurs at a later age of concrete (after 28 days), and it has a longer setting time. It shows slow diffusion of aggressive ions, making it resistant to both clean and aggressive waters. It retains suitable workability and has excellent rheological properties of mortar and concrete (workability, pumpability). Due to its lighter colour, it is suitable for combining with various pigments.
It is suitable for producing versatile concrete, including concretes with different types of additives. It is used for producing load-bearing structural elements in high-rise construction, structures in humid and moderately sulphate-aggressive environments, road construction works, the construction of massive foundations and other massive concretes, maritime and coastal structures, underground works, as well as soil stabilization and injection.
It is particularly recommended for producing transport concrete, concrete for the construction of structures in aggressive environments, massive structures of large cross-sections and volumes, and concrete works in warm climates (during the warm period).
