Steel Pipe and Profile

MMZ is strategically located in Akçakoca, Düzce, on the western Black Sea shores, facilitating easy access to Black Sea Ereğli ports and İzmit Bay Ports. With 38,000 m2 of closed area and 78,000 m2 of land, production facilities are well-equipped. Handling export sales and operations from our İstanbul office allows for convenient travel schedules. Production capacity includes 300,000 tonnes of welded products and 200,000 tonnes of open sections annually.

MMZ products include longitudinally high frequency welded square, rectangular, circular hollow sections and u,c,v or specially shaped open profiles. The profile and pipes are manufactured in their Düzce Plant in Türkiye.

Products are used in the projects of steel construction (building, stadiums, bridges, etc.), manufacturing of agricultural machinery and equipments, automative sector, production of machinery, manufacturing of heavy construction vehicle, infrastructure, piling projects, etc.

The main raw material for production is hot rolled flat steel. The flat steel, which first comes to the uncoiler unit after the uncoiling, slitting, and recoiling units, comes to the forming mill after the shearend welding unit. Then, welding is done using the electric resistance welding method. After the cooling device, the products entering the sizer and turkshead unit are cut into appropriate sizes to obtain pipe or profile products.
